Peter Bausch is a distinguished expert in dental technology and functional diagnostics. Born in 1963, he began his professional journey in export trading before studying chemistry and food technology in Cologne and at the Technical University of Munich (Weihenstephan). Since 1990, he has been a key figure at Dr. Jean Bausch GmbH & Co. KG, leading product development and research in coating papers and film technologies. He also pursued advanced studies in polymer and colloid chemistry through distance education in partnership with Paderborn/Niederrhein University.
Peter has been a prominent presence at international exhibitions and symposia in dental medicine, with a particular emphasis on functional diagnostics. He is the founder of the Bausch Academy and an active member and sponsor of both the DGFTD (German Society of Functional Occlusion and Therapy) and the AES (American Equilibration Society). Among his contributions is the design of an innovative temporary dental splint. From 2022 to 2024, he has been a respected speaker and contributor at the Viesid Summer School, where his insights continue to shape the next generation of dental professionals.
