Dr. Vergel de Dios is a highly accomplished and deeply experienced dental practitioner whose professional journey began at the College of Dentistry of the University of the East Manila. After completing her pre-dental coursework from 1981 to 1983, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1987 and successfully passed the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission’s Dental Board Examination that same year. She immediately transitioned into intensive clinical practice through a Dental Externship Program at the 1301st General Headquarters Dental Dispensary, AFP, in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo. From there, she dedicated the early years of her career to mastering specialized fields, completing a Certificate Program in Orthodontics in 1989 alongside advanced courses at the Preventive Interceptive Orthodontic Institute, followed by an intensive post-graduate orthodontic program at the Peñaloza and Banting Orthodontic School from 1989 to 1991.

Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Vergel de Dios expanded her pediatric capabilities through a year-long Externship Training at the Pediatric Dentistry Center of the Philippine Pediatric Dental Society Inc. from 1997 to 1998. Her clinical pursuits frequently took her abroad to learn cutting-edge techniques, notably completing a Mid-America Orthodontics Society Advanced Orthodontics-TMJ course in Chicago, Illinois in 1997, and later finishing advanced practical hands-on workshops in Periodontal and Mucogingival Surgery at the International Professors Dental Institute for Clinical Training (Pro DICT) in Taipei, Taiwan in 2018. Additionally, she refined her cosmetic capabilities by training in the PAED Esthetic 101 Batch 14 course in 2010.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Vergel de Dios has established herself as a global dental veteran, actively participating in major international forums and symposiums. Her attendance spans the Pan Pacific Conference in Hawaii, the American Association of Orthodontists in Missouri, the American Dental Association in Florida, the American Association of Functional Orthodontists in Tennessee, the Malaysian Association of Aesthetic Dentistry in Kuala Lumpur, and the Dental Aesthetic Meeting in Asia (DAMA) at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Domestically, she shares her wealth of knowledge as an educator and leader, having served as a lecturer for the Quezon City Dental Society, a prominent pediatric dentistry case presenter at the Philippine Dental Association Annual Convention, and a Board Member of the Philippine Academy of Dental Esthetics.
