A graduate of the University of the East in 1993, Dr. Mylene Guevarra-Igrubay is a Fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy and a member of the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) of which she has been a member of its Power Speakers Bureau from 2015 to the present as a lecturer and table clinic presenter during Annual and Regional Conventions.

She is one of the Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) of Ivoclar Vivadent for South East Asia on Direct Restorations were she delivered lecture presentations in Jakarta Indonesia, Penang Malaysia and Phnom Penh Cambodia. She also conducts workshops for Alphadent Corporation in the region.

To keep abreast on updates in Clinical Dentistry, she has attended various training workshops and seminars locally and internationally covering her special interest in the field of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Igrubay completed Level 1 and Level 2 of the Aesthetic Dental Continuum and Endodontic Continuing Program of the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2011. Other training include Modern Concepts in American Dentistry of the New York School of Dentistry in February and March of 2019, New York City, New York, New Trends in Modern Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry Practical Periodontal Surgery Workshop on Perio Esthetics in Taipei, Taiwan in 2018, Restorative Dentistry by the International Center for Dental Education Ivoclar Vivadent, Tangerang, Indonesia in 2017 and New Trends in Modern Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry by the International Center for Dental Education (ICDE) Ivoclar Vivadent, Schaan, Liechtenstein in 2010.

During Dr. Igrubay’s term as President of the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (PAED) from 2013 to 2015, she left as her legacy several key achievements: PAED induction as Institutional Member of Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (AAAD) in 2013 during its 2nd Biennial Congress, major changes in the curriculum of PAED Esthetic 101 made, leading to the succeeding PAED Esthetic 101 like case presentations and chronological sequences of the 10 modules, PAED Lakbay Aral in Europe and PDA bestowing on PAED the the Continuing Dental Education, Professional Development Award consecutively in 2014 and 2015.

Dr. Igrubay has spearheaded several dental missions and projects in line with PDA initiatives such as the Adopt-a-Barangay (Barangay La Paz, Makati City – Toothbrush Drill and Feeding Program and Barangay Hulo, Mandaluyong City – Oral Health Education and Distribution of Toothbrush and Toothpaste) and Adopt-a-School – Rafael Palma Elementary School, Metro Manila – Oral Health Education, Toothbrush Drill and Fluoride Varnish Application. She also supervised the Binhi Project whch involved tree planting at La Mesa Dam with different chapters and affiliates of PDA participating.

Dr. Igrubay owns and practices at Enhance Dental Clinic, which has three branches: Kingswood Arcade and Centuria Medical, both in Makati City and F1 Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. She is also an accredited dentist of the Department of Tourism and Ayala Group of Companies.
