Dr. De Leon graduated from the College of Dentistry, University of the Philippines Manila with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1986. She passed the PRC Licensure Examination that same year with an 83.89 percent General Average Rating.

Dr. De Leon has been active in the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (PAED) since 2000 when she enrolled for the PAED Esthetic 101 course and received a certificate of recognition. She then became a Certified Lecturer of PAED from 2001 and was elected its 6th President in 2006, serving until 2008.

She holds the distinction of being the first ever PAED President to win the Philippine Dental Association’s (PDA) Most Outstanding Affiliate President Award, back-to-back in 2007 and in 2008, garnering as well as its Achievement Award for Professional Development, also in 2007 and 2008. Under her watch, PAED bagged PDA’s Most Outstanding Affiliate Society in 2007.

Dr. De Leon has enhanced her knowledge and skills, pursuing the Basic Implant Course Alpha-Bio and Periodontics in 2008, offered by the Philippine Society of Periodontology. She also enrolled in the UCLA College of Dentistry’s Esthetic Continuum program.

In private practice, Dr. De Leon holds clinic at the Renaissance Center, Meralco Avenue, Pasig City and is also President of First Option Dental Care Inc. at Robinsons Pioneer along Edsa.
