Dr. Mylene Guevarra-Igrubay is a graduate of the University of the East batch 1993. She joined Philippine Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (PAED) in 2001. Ten years after, in 2011, she attended and completed Level 1 and Level 2 of the Aesthetic Dental Continuum and Endodontic Continuing Program of the UCLA School of Dentistry.

In March 2025, she obtained her Certificate of Achievement in Current Concepts in American Dentistry: Advances in Esthetics and Oral Rehabilitation at the University of New York, College of Dentistry.

In keeping abreast with further updates and advances on Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, she attended various training workshops and seminars both locally and abroad. This training programs include:

• Dr. Ronaldo Hirata’s Recipes on Comprehensive Restorative Treatment with Composites in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2024)
• Fradeani Education on Modern Concepts in Anterior Restorative Dentistry (Direct and indirect Approach) in Bali, Indonesia (2022)
• Professor Lorenzo Vanini’s Master Class on Advance Anterior Restorations in Genova, Italy (2019)
• Practical Periodontal Surgery Workshop on Perio Esthetics in Taipei, Taiwan (2018)

o Jakarta and Surabaya (University of Airlangga) Indonesia
o Penang Malaysia (14th Penang Dental Congress)
o Phnom Penh, Cambodia (Cambodia Dental Council’s 8th International Conference and Expodent).
• Key Opinion Leader (KOL) of GC Philippines for Injection Moulding Technique (IMT)

In 2015, she was invited as guest lecturer at the Asian Summit of College of General Dentist Practitioners (CGDP) in Singapore.

Just this year, in 2025, she represented Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (PAED) at the 18th Biennial Congress of Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry in Taipei, Taiwan by giving a lecture presentation on Injection Moulding Technique (IMT).

She became PAED’s 10th President from 2013 to 2015. During her term as PAED President, she was able to contribute the following achievements:
• Induction of PAED as Institutional Member of Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (AAAD) in 2013 during its 2nd Biennial Congress
• Major changes in the curriculum of PAED Esthetic 101 leading to the succeeding PAED Esthetic 101 like case presentations and chronological sequences of the 10 modules
• PAED’s First Lakbay Aral in Europe in 2014
• PDA Award for PAED on Continuing Dental Education and Professional Development Award in 2014 and 2015
• PDA Award for PAED, Outstanding (1st runner Up) President Affiliate Non Specialty (2015)
• PDA Award for PAED, Outstanding (1st Runner Up) Affiliate Non Specialty (2015)
• Produced PAED graduates
o NCR – Batches 20, 21 & 22

As PAED President, she spearheaded several dental missions and projects:

• Several in line with PDA initiatives such as the Adopt-a-Barangay (Barangay La Paz, Makati City – Feeding Program, Oral Health Education and Distribution of Toothbrush and Toothpaste)
• Toothbrush Drill - Barangay Hulo, Mandaluyong City – Oral Health Education and Distribution of Toothbrush and Toothpaste)
• Adopt-a-School – Rafael Palma Elementary School, Metro Manila - Oral Health Education, Toothbrush Drill and Fluoride Varnish Application.
• She also supervised the Binhi Project which involved tree planting at La Mesa Dam with different chapters and affiliates of PDA participating.

She held other important positions in PAED such as:
• Chair, PAED Continuing Dental Education (2017 - 2019, 2021 – 2023)
• Course Director, PAED 101 (2019 – 2021)
• Chair, PAED Council of Past Presidents (2023- 2015)

In 2017, she received an award as the Most Outstanding Alumni Awardee on Dental Profession by Holy Cross College in Pampanga.

Dr. Igrubay owns and practices at Enhance Dental Clinic (EDC). EDC has three branches. These are Kingswood Arcade Branch and Centuria Medical branch, both located in Makati City. While F1 Hotel Branch is located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. She is also an accredited dentist of the Department of Tourism, Health and Leisure and Ayala Group of Companies.
